[SP] Crawler (Advanced)

[SP] Crawler (Advanced)

Postby srs bsnss » Sat Apr 12, 2014 2:47 pm

My take on Mevious' "Crawler", which is one of my favorite Portal 2 maps.

Aesthetically, I feel that maybe I could've done a better job, but overall I think it turned out pretty good.

==Thanks==

Thanks to Mevious for making the original map, thanks to tmast98 for design advice, and thanks to josepezdj for a couple custom textures and models.

==Q&A==
Q: How did you make this map?
A: Portal 2 Authoring Tools, AKA Hammer

Q: How long did this take to make?
A: About 30 hours.

Q: How do I solve this?
A: A walkthrough will be added to the description.

This community spotlight is a great way to discover awesome stuff that one may have missed :)

Your additions to the original puzzle are nice, especially the floor-ceiling jump.
Only thing is (as I mentioned on the workshop) that the pillars below that platform are sticking through the floor collision-wise, so they occasionally bump the floor portal.

Oh, so that's what causes it! I'm using bounding box collisions right now because I was lazy, but I suppose I'll go and fix that.
